Adventure Schedule

Caving - 4/7/2017 to 4/9/2017

Cumberland Caverns

Join us as we venture into Cumberland Caverns and spend the night under the ground instead of under the stars. While inside we will take a tour of one of the largest cave systems in the United States, eat dinner, and watch a movie before we setup camp for the night. Of course we will not know it is night unless someone tells us! The most adventurous among us will get the chance to gear up and crawl through over a mile of tunnels.

Cabretta Island - 6/3/2017 to 6/6/2017

Cabretta Island

We hope to avoid the hurricanes this year and head to Cabretta Island. Cabretta Island is a very remote island off the coast of Sapelo Island Ga. There is only one group campsite on this island, therefore, we will have the entire island to ourselves! There are toilets, hot showers, and a picnic shelter. We will be staying in tents. This will be a trip that consists of a lot of nature, exploring, beach playing, and learning to live in nature. There is a 25 person cap for this trip. After we reach our 25 mark, we will start a waiting list for any cancelations.

WildWater Nantahala

North Carolina's shimmering Nantahala River offers river rafting through family-friendly rapids that are mild but exciting. The Nantahala features eight miles of practice on easy Class II rapids before splashing through the exciting Class III whitewater of Nantahala Falls. This is one of America’s most popular whitewater runs! Camp Caglewood has been rafting the Nantahala for several years now. It is an exciting adventure that is suitable for most of our campers.  Our trips are guided trips with safety being our number 1 concern. A close number 2 is FUN!
