Caglewood is an incorporated non-profit company.
The organization is run under the guidelines of it’s 501(c)-3 exemption status. This means while finances are still an important
part of the organization, our motivating factor is not profit, rather it is to nurture
the enhancement of the services we offer populations in need.
The majority of our operating budget comes from fundraisers
held during the year, all of which we include our campers in.
This gives us the opportunity to both expand the program to more individuals
and to keep the camper tuition cost low.
In addition to donations and tuition fees, we also seek grants and ongoing corporate
sponsorship pledges to allow for the future development of new programs.
One of Caglewood’s goals is to always offer the best to our
campers. For this reason we spare no
expense when it comes to equipment, experience, and
safety.
A lion‘s share of our expeditures are focused on our programs.
Growth over the first few years of the program has been tremendous. While continuing to finish each year in
the black our operating budget has more than quadrupled.
